Utility bills got you down? Feeling uneasy about rising electricity rates or not sure what you’re actually paying for each month? Join Lisbet Searle-White from Green Building Alliance for relaxed and judgement-free utility bill office hours where you’ll get clear, practical help with your energy costs. Lisbet, Meadville’s very own trusted “Utility Medic,” will be on hand to walk through bills line by line, answer questions, and offer personalized guidance on ways you may be able to increase efficiency and lower your monthly expenses.
These monthly office hours are approachable, educational, and empowering, whether you’re wondering what a single charge means, comparing bills month to month, or just want to understand how your usage affects your costs. Attendees are encouraged to bring a copy of the utility bill they’d like to discuss, but if you forget, we have samples available so you can still follow along and learn!
