Let’s be astronomers! Join Oil Region Astronomical Society to learn how to explore the night sky and how to spot notable planets and constellations. This is a two-part event. The first part will take place at the Library, the second part will take place at a different location outdoors:

Part 1: Library Session May 13, 2026 6-7PM

Part 2: Wednesday, May 20 | 8:30-10:30 PM at the Eldred Glen Parking Lot (44933 Thurston Rd, Meadville PA). Rain/cloud date: May 27, same location & time

More about ORAS: The Oil Region Astronomical Society (ORAS) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization born from a shared passion for the cosmos, founded in 1991 as the Venango County Astronomy Club. ORAS welcomes all who marvel at the night sky, fostering a community where members can deepen their knowledge and share their love for astronomy.
