Second Saturday Night Live Returns to Downtown Meadville August 8th, 2026 6:00 PMThe Meadville Neighborhood Center’s popular Second Saturday Night Live concert returns for its final performance of the 2026 season on Saturday August 8 with an evening of “acoustisonic” (country Americana and blues) music, community gathering, and summer energy. 

The event takes place at The Arc Community Greenspace (967 Market St) and the adjacent 960 Park Ave. Parklet in downtown Meadville begining at 6:00 pm with stage setter and closer markymask, whose signature vinyl sets invite audience participation. Guests are encouraged to bring a favorite record and markymask will weave it into a curated selection of records that a takes us on musical journey traversing different periods, genres, and rhythms. 

The evening then features three accomplished regional musicians—Jack Adams, Taylor Hinton and Rodger Montgomery—performing both together and individually in an intimate singersongwriter format.International recording artist Jack Adams brings a voice of eminence with two albums recordedin Nashville and two Top-15 chart hits, including “Looking for Me,” which reached No. 6. His decade of touring has established him as one of the region’s most accomplished performers.Local musician Taylor Hinton adds a voice of distinction with her original Americana-inspired songs that explore both personal reflection and everyday life. Hinton, who can most often be found playing drums and singing around town in the band “Vanilla Bill” with her husband and friends, writes music as a way to navigate her inner world and the world around her. Blues guitarist Rodger Montgomery complements the lineup as an accomplished blues guitarist and historian. Montgomery has spent more than 35 years performing throughout the region and sharing stages with legendary artists including Johnny Copeland, Otis Rush and Big Jack Johnson. A recording artist and multiple Rock Erie Music Award winner, he brings a deep appreciation for traditional blues to every performance.The event is free and open to the public. 

Guests are encouraged to bring lawn chairs. Restrooms and additional seating are available. In the event of rain, performances will move to Hatch Hollow, 945 Market Street.This event is made possible through support from Erie Arts & Culture, the Pennsylvania Council on the Arts, The Arc of Crawford County, the Meadville Neighborhood Center, and the Meadville Community Revitalization Corporation’s Downtown Summer Maintenance Program.The Arc Community Greenspace continues to welcome community-generated programming throughout the season.
