Green Building Alliance (GBA) will present Commercial Building Energy Efficiency 101a free session on best practices and actionable strategies for understanding, managing, and reducing electricity, natural gas, and other utility usage in commercial buildings, June 23, 10 am to 12 noon, at Allegheny College

A program of GBA’s Resilient Meadville initiative, this session will review no- and low-cost actions as well as deeper building projects, upgrades, and retrofits that commercial building owners and managers can take to reduce energy and water use. Hosted by GBA, this presentation is best suited for nonprofits, commercial building owners, small businesses, multifamily property owners, hospitals, K-12 schools, higher education, and light manufacturing facility operators. 

The program will also provide the opportunity to learn about the Resilient Meadville initiative, and the technical assistance and support available to help property owners reduce energy and water usage, and associated costs while increasing resiliency to extreme weather events. Presenters include Tobias Chan, GBA Director of Building Performance and Engagement, and Lisbet Searle-White, GBA Director of Outreach and Technical Assistance.
