Eka Pada Koundinyasana is an arm balance where one leg is extended back while the other is rested on the arm extended forward. It is a powerful arm balance that is strengthening as well as empowering for the spirit, it requires a mind body connection that helps foster more self trust as well as physical strength. Although quite a lot of veteran practitioners will say that once you “master” it, it no longer feels hard but almost feels as though you are flying.

Eka Pada is often cue’d in a class but often there are some key elements that we as teachers miss teaching in a day to day class, mostly due to time constraints and other reasoning.

This one hour class will help set the foundation to float into our peak pose Crow. Elements of this class may include;

•Preperatory poses that build the Strength and Flexibility required.

•Tips and tricks that give you the tools to achieve the desired outcome.

•Ways to modify the pose to a beginner level

•How to practice safely

Cost is $15 or current pass
