Measuring Impact

What Difference Does the Difference Make? The following metrics are key goal posts which will be  used to measure/assess MCRC’s progress and successes.

  • Coordinated downtown activation strategy, to be completed.
  • Twenty Percent increase in coordinated calendar and brand users. Primary data to be collected by professional communications and marketing firm.
  • Placemaking improvements by dollar amount, number of improvements, and community feedback with respect to improvements in quality of life.
  • Multimodal and trail connectivity by mileage and/or number of improvements annually.
  • Commercial and residential market rates by overall area as a dollar amount per square foot.
  • Data from CoStar, supplemented by local property owners.
  • New businesses attracted (in operation) by count.
  • Commercial and residential property conditions as a grade score. Data: From Annual Property Conditions survey and survey conducted by MCRC staff, supplemented by property owners and CoStar data.
